Batting first, the Durban Qalandars set a target of 127 runs. Tim Seifert opened the innings for the Qalandars and played a brilliant innings, scoring 49 runs off just 22 balls. His innings included 6 fours and 3 sixes, and it helped the Qalandars get off to a flying start. Seifert’s aggressive batting put the Cape Town Samp Army under pressure, and they were unable to recover from the early onslaught.

Eventually, CTSA could only score 118 runs in their allocated 10 overs and hence, Qalandars won the match by 8 runs.
