Tim David Shines in MINY vs LAKR MLC 2023 Match
Tim David was the star of the show as MI New York thrashed the Los Angeles Knight Riders by 105 runs in Match 6 of the Major League Cricket (MLC) 2023 tournament on Sunday night.

David smashed 48 runs off just 21 deliveries, including 4 fours and 4 sixes, to help MINY post a total of 155 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Nicholas Pooran too scored a patient 38 off 37 balls.
In reply, LAKR were bowled out for just 50 runs in 13.5 overs. Trent Boult and Kagiso Rabada were the pick of the bowlers for MINY, taking 2-2 wickets. Other bowlers also contributed the same number of wickets for MINY.
David was adjudged ‘Player of the Match’ for his quickfire 48.

The win was MINY’s first in the MLC 2023 tournament. They now have 2 points from 2 matches. LAKR, on the other hand, have lost both their matches so far and are bottom of the table.
