The Trent Rockets were never really in the chase, despite a brilliant half-century from opener Lizelle Lee. They fell just three runs short in the end, as de Klerk’s knock proved to be the difference. De Klerk was named Player of the Match for her performance, and she said she was pleased to finish the season on a high.

“It was a great feeling to get the win. We were a bit down after losing our first two games, but we came back strong and finished the season on a high. I’m really proud of the way we played.” – Nadine De Klerk said.

The Invincibles finished the season in fifth place in the table, after winning only 3 of their 8 matches. They will be hoping to go one better next year and win the title. The Rockets, meanwhile, finished a point ahead of Invincibles at number 4 on the table.

They will be looking to make some changes in the off-season and challenge for a higher finish next year. The Hundred Women’s Competition 2023 is a successful tournament, with some exciting and competitive cricket played. The Invincibles’ win over the Rockets was a fitting end to a thrilling season.

Here are more details of the match:

De Klerk’s innings was particularly impressive given that she was playing in her first The Hundred tournament. She showed great maturity and composure in the face of some hostile bowling, and she was a major factor in the Invincibles’ victory.

The Rockets’ bowlers were also impressive, with Gordon and Stonehouse taking two wickets each. However, they were unable to stop de Klerk from taking the game away from them. The Invincibles’ win was a fitting end to their season.

They had a tough start to the tournament, but they finished strongly and showed that they are a team to be reckoned with. The Rockets will be disappointed with their finish to the season, but they can take heart from the fact that they played some good cricket in patches. They will be hoping to build on this in the next season.
