The 16th edition of the Asia Cup will be commencing in the month of September this year in Pakistan. The teams from Asian countries have started their preparation for the pivotal tournament. Whilst Sri Lanka also hold a wonderful record in the history of Asia Cup and will open the tournament as a defending champion with a motive to equalise the number of titles with India. Although the Sri Lankan team’s performance has been full of fluctuations this year.
However, the Sri Lankan team will have the advantage of home conditions. The Indian team also has a long experience of playing on the Sri Lankan pitches. There is no doubt that the Indian team would give a really tough fight to the Sri Lankan team in the upcoming Asia Cup.
Rohit Sharma-led Indian team is a batting giant that has the depth in the batting. The men-in-blue also specialize in fast as well as spin bowling. Whereas Sri Lankan team is full of young talents and has got the best of players such as Angelo Mathews, Matheesha Pathirana, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, and the like.
