Sunrisers Hyderabad 2021 Team Preview

  • Captain: David Warner
  • Home ground: Rajeev Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad.
  • Owners: Sun TV network and Kalanithi Maran

Even after not having THE perfect season, Sunrisers Hyderabad managed to make it to the Playoffs. Sunrisers are not the most glamour or the famous teams, unlike KKR, RCB and MI. You won’t hear much about them in social media as they’ve very calculative about their approach, but when it comes to match performance there’s no one better than them. Having won the IPL once under the captaincy of David Warner and Kane Willamsom and once before they revamped themselves under the captaincy of Adam Gilchrist, SRH too are one of the most successful teams of the IPL. Going into every new seasons, fans and pundits rate them as underdogs but they always outperform their predictions. And why shouldn’t they, SRH have one of the most powerful teams in the IPL. With the likes of David Warner and Johnny Bairstow as openers, who fear none and and score at a rate which is unimaginable, then they have the calm and the composed Kane Williamson, who is the most reliable batsmen in any form of cricket and then they have Manish Pandey, who is one of the most undderated batsmen in India. One of their major acquisitions midway during the season was Jason Holder. Holder is a very known player in the world of franchise cricket and he certainly lived up to that expectation. He made an instant impact and filled the small gap whatever they had. Unlike most teams, SRH was the team who retained the maximum number of players, which simply means that they have massive trust in their squad and they believe that these set of players would live up to their expectations.
