Playing Career
On January 28, 2019, Sundeep Jora played his first game of international cricket against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the third One Day International (ODI) of the series. Jora is the player with the youngest T20I fifty.
On January 31, 2019, Jora played his first Twenty20 International (T20I) for the Nepal cricket team against the United Arab Emirates (UAE). At the age of 17 years and 103 days, he struck 53 runs without being dismissed to become the youngest male cricketer to reach a half-century in a T20I match. Sundeep Jora was selected to play for Nepal in the Asia Under-19 Cricket World Cup qualification competition in April 2019. Additionally, Sundeep Jora appeared in the Oman Pentangular Series for 2019–20.
Sundeep Jora was included on Nepal’s roster for the 2019 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup in Bangladesh in November. Jora was also included in Nepal’s squad later that month for the cricket competition at the 2019 South Asian Games. The Nepali national cricket team took home the bronze medal with pride after defeating the Maldives cricket team by a margin of five wickets in the third-place playoff match, all thanks to the superb play of the Nepali players.
