Sri Lanka tour of Zimbabwe: Full Schedule, Live Scores and Broadcasting details

zimbabwe-vs-test-series-2020

After a gap of more than 2 years, Zimbabwe will host a test series as they will square up against Sri Lanka for a two-match test series which is scheduled to be held between January 19, 2020, and January 30, 2020.

Zimbabwe last hosted a test series back in October 2017 against West Indies and since then have not played a test series at home, while the last time they played a test was in November 2018.

TEAMS

ZIMBABWE

zimbabwe-vs-srilanka-upcoming-test-series-2020Looking at the Zimbabwe squad, the selectors look keen to build a team for the future having included 5 uncapped players in the squad. Zimbabwe all-rounder Sean Williams will lead the pack, while the likes of Brendan Taylor, Craig Ervin, and Sikandar Raza would be shouldering most of the responsibilities in the team.

SRI LANKA

There is no denying the fact that Sri Lanka isn’t the side they used to be once, however, the team would go in as favorites with Zimbabwe a much weaker side despite having the home advantage. srilanka-vs-zimbabwe-test-series

The team will be lead by Dimuth Kuranaratne. The batting department boasts of the likes of Dinesh Chandimal, Oshada Fernando and Lahiru Thirimanne, while the bowling department too looks quite settled with Suranga Lakmal and Kasun Rajitha, Lihura Kumara all fit and running.
