The last year should be remembered as the year of weddings for Indian cricketers, including Shardul-Mithali Parulkar, Akshar Patel-Neha Patel, Pandya-Natasha Stankovic, Bumrah-Sanjana, and K.L. Rahul-Athiya Shetty.

They got married on Sunday, and since the moment these two adorable couples exchanged their vows, people haven’t stopped fawning over the photos of them that are going viral on social media.

Top cricketers like Rohit Sharma, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Shreyas Iyer attended the wedding, making it a star-studded celebration.

The wedding was held among his close friends, making it a special occasion.

Since a few years ago, Shardul has been a mainstay for the Indian cricket team, particularly in the Test and ODI formats. He wasn’t included in the T20I format, however.

He is not now a member of India’s Test cricket lineup, but given the kind of middle-order talents he has shown, he will undoubtedly return in the game’s longest format.

Men in Blue are currently leading the Border-Gavaskar Series by a score of 2-0, and they will look to win another game to increase their lead to 3-0. If India achieves a score of 3-0, they will undoubtedly qualify as another finalist for the World Test Championship, where they will play Australia in the final scheduled for June 2023 at the Oval.

Shardul has been a pillar of the Indian cricket squad since a few years back, especially in the Test and ODI forms. Nonetheless, he was excluded from the T20I format.

While not currently playing for India in Test cricket, considering the kind of middle-order skills he has displayed, he will certainly make a comeback in the game’s longest format.

India will surely advance as another finalist for the World Test Championship if they finish with a score of 3-0.
