Hello and welcome to the preview of Match 4 of the inaugural season of the SA20 League where Paarl Royals take on Joburg Super Kings in Paarl later this evening as per IST. Paarl Royals lost their first group match against the MI Cape Town quite dominantly. Joburg Super Kings on the other hand won a close encounter against the Durban Super Giants.
Paarl Royals began this tournament against the MI Cape Town with a loss by 8 wickets. They batted first in the match after losing the toss and scored only 142/7 in their 20 overs. MI Cape Town chased the target easily in just 15.3 over with the help of a smashing inning from Dewald Brevis.

Joburg Super Kings played against Durban Super Giants in the next match of the league where they came out on top in a hard-fought match. Joburg opted to bat after winning the toss and scored a massive 190 runs on the board in 20 overs. Durban was well on track for the chase but Joburg chipped in with timely wickets and won the match by 16 runs.
It is an evening match which is going to be played in Boland Park, Paarl. The average score here remains 160-165 for the teams batting first. It is expected to be an even contest between bat and ball as the pitch has assistance for bowlers in it.

Joburg Super Kings would want their top order to get some form as they were saved by Donavon Ferreira in the last match. Faf-du-Plessis is expected to go big in this match with support from other batters in the team. Paarl Royals will be expecting a lot more from their firepower batting lineup but they desperately need their bowlers to step up who were looking like a toy in front of Brevis.
