Royal Challengers Bangalore 2021 Team Preview
- Captain: Virat Kohli
- Home Ground: Chinnaswamy Stadium Bengaluru
- Owners: United Spirits.
IPL’s one of the most underachieving teams, the Royal Challenger Bangalore, might just have sorted things out for them and got things in place. 2020 was not the worst season for RCB as they finally managed to make it to the playoffs. Having one of the most strongest teams on paper every year, their performance on field show the complete mirror image of it. With like likes of Virat Kohli, AB De Villiers and Aaron Finch, RCB was again backed to be the favourites to win the IPL. Even after an horrific start, RCB managed to get to the Playoffs. Devdutt Padikall, one of THE finds of IPL was the star performer for them who often held one side of the strike and saw the likes of Aaron Finch, Virat Kohli and ABD take charge. His performances and temperament was applauded by many and some see him in the blue colours not far from now.
Going into 2021, RCB have decided to reshuffle their squad having parted ways with many of their big and key players. This strategy might haunt them in the coming season but who knows what surprise they have in store for us. RCB have parted ways with the likes of Aaron Finch whos performance didn’t live up to his standard, Chris Morris, Shivam Dube, Dale Steyn, Moen Ali, Umesh Yada, Isuru Udana, all of whom played for RCB this season at some point and performed decently.
