Domestic Career
Romario Shepherd, a right-arm fast bowler who took part in the 2015–16 Regional Super50, made his List A debut for Guyana in the month of January of the year 2016 against the Leeward Islands. Steven Jacobs started the bowling with 3/37 from 10 overs, including the first two wickets to fall, and was awarded player of the match. On March 10, of the year 2017, Romario made his first-class debut for Guyana in the regional four-day competition for 2016–17. On September 5, of the year 2018, Romario made his Twenty 20 (T20) debut for the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the competition.
Shepherd was selected for the Guyana Amazon Warriors roster for the 2020 Caribbean Premier League (CPL) in the month of July of that year. After the 2022 Pakistan Super League (PSL) player draught, Romario Shepherd was signed by the Karachi Kings in the month of December of the year 2021. Romario was purchased by the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2022 Indian Premier League (IPL) auction in the month of February of that year.
International career
Shepherd was selected for the West Indies One Day International (ODI) team for their series against Afghanistan in the month of October of the year 2019. On November 6, of the year 2019, Romario Shepherd played in his first One Day International (ODI) for the West Indies against Afghanistan. Shepherd was included in the West Indies Twenty 20 International (T20I) team for their series against Ireland in the month of January of the year 2020. On January 18, of the year 2020, Shepherd played in his first T20I (Twenty 20 International) for the West Indies against Ireland.
