Robert Francis Roode Jr, popularly known by his ring name Robert Roode, is a Canadian professional wrestler, currently working with World Wrestling Entertainment on the Smack down brand. Roode started his wrestling career in 1998 with wrestling promotions including World Wrestling Council, Total Non-Stop Action, NWA, Border City Wrestling and many more.
Before joining the World Wrestling Entertainment in 2016, Roode devoted his 12-year time from 2004 to 2016 where he held several championships in which he is a six-time TNA World Tag Team Champion, two-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion, one-time TNA King of the Mountain Champion and World Tag Team Champion. In WWE, Roode is a one-time NXT Champion, two-time WWE Raw Tag Team Champion, one-time WWE United States Champion, one-time WWE 24/7 Championship and won WWE United States Championship Tournament (2017–2018).
Robert Roode is currently suspended by World Wrestling Entertainment for 30 days for violating its Wellness Policy.
EARLY LIFE
Robert Francis Roode Jr was born on May 11, 1977 in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. As he always wanted to be a professional wrestler, his parents father Bob Roode and mother Sandy Roode delivered their support in making him a wrestler. He persuaded his education from Kenner Collegiate Vocational Institute in Peterborough, Ontario.

Robert Francis Roode Jr married to his long-time girlfriend Tracy Roode in 1995. They together have three sons together named as Nicholas Roode, Riley Roode, and Bobby Roode III. He is living a blissful life together with his wife.
PROFESSIONAL LIFE
Robert Francis Roode Jr started his professional wrestling career in 1998 when he took his wrestling training from Shane Sewell and Sean Morley. He then made his professional wrestling debut as “total” Lee Awesome against Pete Rock in June 1998. From 1998 to 2004, he had also some matches with WWE.
In 2004, Roode signed with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and made his TNA debut the same year, becoming NWA World Tag Team Champion along with Eric Young. He formed an alliance with James Storm as Beer Money, Inc Together with his teammate, Roode is a 6-times TNA World Tag Team Champion being the longest reigning champion in the history of TNA.
In 2012, Roode defeated Strom and became TNA World Heavyweight Champion which he held for 256 days. Roode devoted his 12-year time from 2004 to 2016 where he held several championships in which he is a six-time TNA World Tag Team Champion, two-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion, one-time TNA King of the Mountain Champion and World Tag Team Champion.
Roode signed a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment in 2016 where he managed to steal the limelight by becoming one-time NXT Champion. In his WWE main roster career, he is a two-time WWE Raw Tag Team Champion, one-time WWE United States Champion, one-time WWE 24/7 Championship and won WWE United States Championship Tournament (2017–2018).
Roode feuded with several superstars in his WWE career that include Aleister Black, Ricochet, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, R-Truth and so on.
Roode made his video game debut in 2008’s TNA Impact!, TNA Wrestling (2009), TNA Impact!: Cross the Line (2010) and TNA Wrestling Impact! (2011). He made his WWE video game debut in WWE 2K18 and WWE 2K19.
