A cricketer from Zimbabwe, Richard Ngarava was born on December 28, 1997. On September 9, of the year 2016, Ngarava made his Twenty 20 (T20) debut for Zimbabwe against Free State in the 2016 Africa T20 Cup. Ngarava was a member of Zimbabwe’s team for the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup prior to making his Twenty 20 debut.

Playing Cricket Career
On February 3, of the year 2017, Richard Ngarava made his List A debut for Zimbabwe A against Afghanistan A as part of Afghanistan’s visit to Zimbabwe. Following the List A games for the five-match series against Afghanistan, Ngarava was added to Zimbabwe’s One Day International (ODI) cricket team. On February 16, of the year 2017, Richard Ngarava played in his first One Day International (ODI) for Zimbabwe against Afghanistan at the Harare Sports Club. Additionally, in the month of February of the year 2017, Zimbabwe Cricket included him in an academy team for a tour of England later in the year.
On October 4, of the year 2017, Richard Ngarava made his first-class debut for Rising Stars in the 2017–18 Logan Cup. In the month of June of the year 2018, Richard was chosen to play for a Board XI team in exhibition matches leading up to the Zimbabwe Tri-Nation Series.
In the month of September of the year 2018, Richard Ngarava was added to Zimbabwe’s cricket team for the Africa T20 Cup. Richard was included in Zimbabwe’s Test squad for the series against Bangladesh later that month. Ngarava was later forced to withdraw from the Test series owing to injury, though.
Richard Ngarava was picked to Zimbabwe’s Twenty 20 International (T20I) team in the month of September of the year 2019 in preparation for the Singapore Tri-Nation Series in 2019–20. On September 27, of the year 2019, Richard Ngarava played his first T20 international (Twenty 20 International) match for Zimbabwe against Singapore in the Singapore Tri-Nation Series. Ngarava was included in Zimbabwe’s Test team for their series against Afghanistan in February 2021. Richard Ngarava was included in Zimbabwe’s Test team in the month of April of the year 2021 for the series against Pakistan. On April 29, of the year 2021, Ngarava played in his first Test match for Zimbabwe against Pakistan.
