If the news from standard sports outlets are to believe, Manchester United are looking to perform a U-turn in their approach towards their £500,000 per week flop and are ready to offer him a second chance to perform at Old Trafford. The English side are looking to prevent Inter from signing the Chilean star on a permanent basis and allow him to revive his depreciating career at Stretford End with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer managed side.

For Red Devils, the deal turned out to be ugly as the player scored just five goals in 45 games. Among his games for Manchester United, it was against Manchester City which was remarkable enough.

According to the reports in Daily Star, the Chilean forward will be keeping his No.7 jersey at Manchester.  The player still has two years left in his contract which starts this summer. The player has the deal with Manchester United till the end of June 2022.

Currently, Manchester United have Marcus Rashford, Daniel James and Tahith Chong as specialised wingers.

Even after joining Inter Milan on loan in the summer transfer window, the player hasn’t fared well in Italy. The injuries have marred his progress and the player has appeared only six times in the season with scoring only once in these games.

Talking about Sanchez, Conte furiously said:

“You mention Sanchez – well gentlemen, players must be fit to play

“I am not crazy. So, either I am a moron, or I want to hurt myself. I believe one plus one equals two. If you make one plus one equal five…

“If I put someone out of our line-up it is for a reason. It is not about performing a hara-kiri or because I am a mad man.”
