Manchester United gaffer Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had reportedly pulled Jack Grealish for a chat to express his admiration for the attacking midfielder after their draw with Aston Villa last month.

The 24-year-old scored a stunner and put in a man of the match display at Old Trafford as he continues to be linked with a move to the Red Devils.

And now as per Daily Star, Solskjaer held a private chat with Grealish after their game last month as he tried to convince the Aston Villa star that he can be a perfect fit at United and flourish under Ole’s tutelage.

The Aston Villa youth product meanwhile, who regularly socializes in Manchester, discussed his dream of playing and scoring at the Old Trafford after his heroics, which sparked a wild celebration to the united fans in a hope that the talented playmaker in the future joins the Red Devils.

“I think he’s a big target for many teams and you can see why,” he said.

“He’s a top player but as I’ve said before, our owners are very ambitious and want to establish us as a top Premier League club.

“To do that you have to keep your best players, so we’ll be keeping hold of Jack Grealish.

“People can keep looking but they can’t touch.”

Grealish had earlier in this week dropped a transfer hint on social media when he liked a tweet referencing scoring more regularly at Old Trafford whilst wearing red, only to backtrack by unliking the post and swiftly sharing a pro-Villa version.

Along with Jack Grealish on United’s playmaker shortlist for this transfer window is Leicester star James Maddison and Ajax ace Donny van de Beek, who is reportedly open to a Premier League move in the summer.
