Rashid Khan got married in a luxury hotel in Kabul

Afghanistan’s star spinner Rashid Khan tied the knot when he got married in Afghanistan on October 3. It is said that he got married according to Pashtun customs. Rashid and his three brothers married at the same time and place. Meanwhile, there is no information about who Rashid’s wife is.

Rashid’s marriage took place with full pomp and show. Many cricketers and senior officials also attended this wedding. Afghanistan Cricket Board CEO Naseeb Khan, veteran player Mohammad Nabi, Mujeeb Ur Rehman, Najibullah Zadran and many players were present at this wedding. Many players congratulated Rashid Khan and wished him a happy married life on their social media accounts.

Responding to a fan, Rashid Khan had said in the year 2020 that he will not marry until he wins the World Cup.

Rashid Khan made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe on 18 October 2015. In the first match, Rashid gave a total of 20 runs in 10 overs and also took 1 wicket. He has been one of the successful bowlers in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and currently plays with Gujarat Titans.

Rashid Khan is the youngest captain to lead Afghanistan. He has played a total of 5 Tests, 105 ODIs and 93 T20 matches for Afghanistan so far. In his career he has taken 34 Test wickets, 190 ODI wickets and 152 T20 wickets. Whereas with the bat, Rashid has scored 106 runs in Test, 1322 runs in ODI and 460 runs in T20 formats. He has also scored a total of 5 half-centuries in ODIs.
