The Pakistan Cricket Board has confirmed that PSL season twelve will be played from 18 March to 2 May 2027, maintaining its eight‑team format. The board’s timetable mirrors the Indian Premier League window, and the BCCI is also considering an early‑March start, meaning the two tournaments will run side by side.
Walee Technologies, which holds PSL media rights until 2029, is dissatisfied with the chosen window, citing a shortfall in broadcasting revenue after Ramadan. The league will also introduce a player auction this season, a new feature intended to boost fan engagement following last year’s success.
