Team India Beats Bangladesh in Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023 Final

Women cricketers in India have been giving phenomenal performances for quite a while now. They have shown great class and character in several tournaments in the past. In the recent Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023 Final, India went on to defeat Bangladesh by 31 runs margin.

After batting first, the target that was set by India was only 128 runs, the bowlers did a phenomenal job to restrict Bangladesh to 100 runs. And they were all out for 96 runs.

Key moments of the match:

At the end of the first inning, it clearly looked like India had lost the match. However, the bowlers from the Indian team went on to consistently take wickets and keep the hope alive for India. 

• At the start of the second inning, Bangladesh was certainly looking good. But later on, after two overs the score went in the favor of India, as it was 12/1. The opening partnership was broken by Mannat Kashyap. 
• When the second wicket partnership was looking good, Mannat had the plan to get another wicket to her name. Quickly she made the scoreboard 23/2 in 4 overs. That was certainly a good way to get her team on the positive track. 
• In the 6th over when Bangladesh was looking forward to making a partnership. That is when Shreyanka Patil took the 3rd wicket and the score was 29/3 after 6 overs. The pressure was certainly on Bangladesh now. 
• After going through the initial blows, it became very hard to recover for the Bangladesh team. Soon they were 56/6. 
• Rain brought some hope for Bangladesh. However, later on, once the score was 88/9. There was certainly no hope for them.

At 96, Bangladesh was all out, and India went on to win the Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023 Final. This showed the potential of the Indian cricket team. This is certainly one of the best performances the Indian team showed in the tournament.
