PCB announce the schedule of remaining four matches of PSL

The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the schedule of the remaining fixtures of Pakistan Super League, on Wednesday. The final four matches of the league which got postponed on 17th March due to a spike in the cases of coronavirus will now be held between 14 and 17th November 2020. 

It is understood that the qualifier 1 and Eliminator will be played on 14th November, while the eliminator2 will be staged on 15th September. The two finalists will square up against each other on 17th November 2020.

The dates have only been finalised after consulting all four playing teams. Multan Sultans, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi are the four teams which will play the remaining four matches of the league.

All the matches will be played under the strict protocols amidst Covid-19 Pandemic. All the teams will serve a mandatory quarantine period followed which they will be entering the bio-secure bubble.

This announcement puts speculations to bed and provides absolute clarity and ample time for teams to plan and prepare for these crunch matches.” PCB Chief Executive Wasim Khan said.

 “The PCB was always keen and committed to hosting the remaining four matches as it believed an event of the magnitude of the HBL Pakistan Super League deserved a winner. We saw the excitement and buzz in the lead up to the competition earlier this year and look forward to promotional activations that will engage the fans once again.” he added

Besides Peshawar Zalmi, all other teams are yet to win a title.

Pakistan Super League is a professional T20 league where currently six teams participate to win the title. The inaugural tournament was held in 2015.
