There have been moments where must have an edge over England but they lost that vital moments eventually India trailing by 1-2 in this series.
Gill who have done exceptionally well in first two test matches where he scored more than 500+ runs so far but couldn’t score runs when it mattered the most.

Ganguly was disappointed that India couldn’t chase down 22 runs where he said “The way India batted have disappointed me big time as they could have chase down 192 runs on that board and the batting quality in this team is extremely brilliant. They will be more disappointed then I am because there was real opportunity to go 2-1 up in the series. We just needed two partnerships to win. The kind of batting display from Jadeja along with Bumrah and Siraj showed that if fight could be have done at top of the order things could have been different.
It would be interesting to see how will India make comeback in next test also here is workload management philosophy Bumrah would most probably not play next test match.
In his absence India would have to grind extra harder to win this important contest.
