Ninja Anticipates Modern Warfare 3 Glitches and Bugs, Expects Some Players to Defend Them
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 release pattern consistently brings forth various game issues. Ninja pointed out the trend of players experiencing the same emotional rollercoaster, albeit in a rather blunt but not entirely inaccurate manner.

Ninja stated on October 9th, “I’ll take a bit of a risk here and say that the upcoming CoD game will likely be plagued by glitches and cheaters upon its launch. But here’s the kicker: the gunplay will still be solid, and players will be thrilled with the mobility. It might sound outrageous, but players are likely to fall for it.”
Could Ninja have expressed this more politely? Certainly. Is he wrong? Definitely not. These same complaints arise with every new Call of Duty game release. In the current cycle, Battle Rage is incredibly broken, even though it was recently adjusted, and it should never have made it into the beta in its initial state.
The beta is currently available only on PS5, but there have been reports of cheaters using jailbroken consoles, and the PC version has yet to be released. There are numerous bugs just before the November launch, making it challenging to believe that Sledgehammer will address all of them.
The unspoken rule of Call of Duty is straightforward: the game is perpetually a few tweaks away from being great again. Unfortunately, those adjustments are rarely, if ever, made promptly. By the time everything is in good shape, it’s already time for the next installment in the annual release cycle.
If you’re still playing Call of Duty after more than a decade, knowing the iron grip it once had on the gaming industry, you’re well aware of what you’re getting into. Expect no significant changes, and you’ll find excitement in the few changes that do come along. Manage your expectations for this franchise to maintain your sanity.
