The 3rd unofficial Test of the India A tour of New Zealand will be played at Bert Sutcliffe Oval, Lincoln, starting at 03:30 AM IST on Saturday 7 November.
New Zealand A have drawn both of their recent matches against India A, scoring 424/10 and 317/10 & 187/9 in the first innings of the 31 Oct and 24 Oct games respectively. India A also finished with draws in those matches, compiling 346/10 & 282/2 and 113/10 & 516/10. In addition, India A played three matches against Australia A earlier in October, winning one by 49 runs and losing the other two by 69 and 125 runs.
The two sides have met twice before, both encounters ending in draws on 31 Oct and 24 Oct 2026.
Key players to watch include India A’s top run‑scorer Devdutt Padikkal with 311 runs in four innings, followed by Yash Rathod with 223. New Zealand A’s Dean Foxcroft has accumulated 186 runs in three innings. In the bowling department, Simon Keene and Zak Gibson have taken six wickets each for New Zealand A, while Auqib Nabi has also taken six wickets for India A.
