Indian Speedster Mohammad Siraj has been racially abused again at Gabba on the first day of fourth test match . As Siraj reported abuse by Australian fans on the recently concluded third Test at Sydney where six spectators were thrown out of the stadium for passing racial comments on speedster. Many would have thought that Indian team will get support from the crowd when they will go on and play last test in Brisbane.

But again some fringe elements from the crowd passed racial comments on Siraj . According to a report in the Sydney Morning Herald, both Siraj and Washington Sundar were repeatedly labelled ‘grubs’ by a group of fans.

“The guys behind me have been calling – shouting – both Washington and Siraj grubs,” the paper quotes a spectator known as Kate.

“It started targeted at Siraj and it was a chant similar to the SCG one (“Que Shiraz, Shiraz” to the tune of Que Sera, Sera). “But this time it was Siraj. I suspect it’s not a coincidence that it’s Siraj being targeted post the SCG stuff.”

Taking about the first day game of fourth test match Australia won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 274 runs at the loss of 5 wickets with Paine and Green still available on the crease.

Marnus Labuschagne went on to score his century after being dropped twice by Rahane and Pujara.  However India with inexperience lineup in absence of Bumrah and Ashwin made a comeback in the second and third session. T Natarajan who became the first Indian bowler to make a debut in all three formats for Men In Blue.

However currently Australia is looking strong but If India restricts host under 350 tomorrow and somehow manage to either win or draw this Test match it will certainly be one of the biggest achievement for Men In Blue for years to come.
