It has been a historic year for England, looking at their 44-year old World Cup history, where they reached the finals thrice in the history of quadrennial event, but always missed the golden opportunity by a whisker.
It has been 27 years since the last time Brits qualified for a World Cup final, which happened in 1992, when Imran Khan’s boys slammed England like dead rubber. This time around, England created history, and shocked the cricket fraternity by winning their maiden 50-over World Cup title.
They started off as favorites and ended the tournament as champions. They were on the verge of getting eliminated after losing 3 matches in the league stage, however, they rose like a phoenix from the Ashes and defeated Australia in the semi-final at the Edgbaston, and then beat New Zealand in the finale on “superior boundary count”.
Meanwhile fans were delighted witnessing England win its national game World Cup event, but the real limelight was stolen by a popular model Bethany Lily April, who congratulated England on the victory at Lords by posting seductive pictures, where she was seen doing a strip tease.

The fans named her as UK’s Poonam Pandey, who became a talking sensation in 2011 after she promised to strip after India’s victory in the 2011 World Cup final, but couldn’t do, due to threat and public backlash.
She also posed naked after Kolkata Knight Riders won their maiden IPL title in 2012 and recently aroused controversy after she gave a befitting reply to Pakistani ad mocking Indian Air Force officer Abhinandan Varthaman.
