Liverpool to Kickstart Premier League 2020-21 season against Leeds United

Liverpool crowned Premier League champions

Defending Champions Liverpool will be starting Premier League 2020-21 season against a strong opponent in Leeds United. The news was confirmed by Premier League Organisers on Thursday.

As Liverpool displayed their class in the last season by beating Manchester City in order to clinch the Premier League title, Manchester United and Chelsea finished last season at 3rd and 4th Position respectively.

Arsenal will compete against Fulham and Chelsea will travel to Brighton to Kickstart their campaign for Premier League 2020-21 season.

Another prime English club Tottenham Hotspur will kick off their season against Everton on September 12th. According to latest reports from Goal.com, Manchester City and Manchester United were all set to face Burnley and Ashton Villa but will not play against each other now as their matches have been postponed but they will certainly face each other in the latter tournament.

Liverpool will start their campaign on September 19th against Leeds United but will finish their campaign at home to Crystal Palace on May 23rd 2021.

Liverpool under the guidance of Jurgen Kloop has performed extremely well as the players complement each other on the field and want to win each and every match for the ace club.

In International competitions, Reds have won six European Cups, more than any other English club, three UEFA Cups, four UEFA Super Cups (also English records) and one FIFA Club World Cup.
