Legends Intercontinental T20 League set to kick-off in USA, Brett Lee, Dilshan, Parthiv Patel will participate
Get ready for a cricketing tournament featuring some of the most iconic players of all time. The Legends Intercontinental T20 League (LIT-20) is here, promising a thrilling tournament filled with nostalgia, fierce competition, and exciting cricket action.
Launched by USA-based Brosid Sports LLC, the LIT-20 offers a unique opportunity to witness legendary cricketers from various continents battle it out on American soil. The tournament kicks off on August 15th and runs until August 29th, with all matches held at Moosa Stadium in Texas.
A Glimpse of the Legends Intercontinental T20 League
The inaugural season will feature seven teams:
- Indo Kings
- Asian Avengers
- Euro Rangers
- American Mavericks
- Trans-Tasman Titans (representing Australia and New Zealand)
- African Lions
- Caribbean Vikings
These teams will compete in a single round-robin format, where each team plays every other team once. The top 4 teams at the end of this round-robin stage will advance to the knockout stage, culminating in a grand finale on August 29th. Cricket fans can expect a total of 24 amazing matches, with double-headers scheduled for each day.
The LIT-20 boasts an impressive lineup of star players. Cricket legends like Parthiv Patel (India), Brett Lee (Australia), Tillakaratne Dilshan (Sri Lanka), and Graeme Swann (England) have already confirmed their participation.
