Legendary Golf player Tiger Woods makes a perfect start for defending his Masters title at National Golf Club

Defending Champion Tiger Woods tied his first round at the Masters title was trailing three points behind clubhouse leader Paul Casey on Thursday before the game was suspended due to darkness at Augusta Golf National Club.

Tiger Woods who struggled with his form in most of 2020 looks to find his groove back at his favorite Augusta National Stomping ground where he achieved a score of four under par 68.

“It was good all around” Woods said this after his first par performance in 2020 where he added that ” I drove it well, hit my iron well and putted well. There’s really nothing, looking back on it, that I could have done little better”

Woods nearly aced the par three 16th where he walked of the green after playing his familiar shots where he tapped two feet for birdie, delivered a modest fist pump after a birdie at par four first and closed it with a strong of pars.

He ranks second in men’s major Championships and also holds numerous golf records. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest golfers of all time . For his contribution towards this great game of Golf he will be inducted into World Golf Hall of Fame in 2021. Woods have won 15 major Championship titles where he clinched trophies in Masters Tournament in the year 1997,2001,2002,2005 and 2019.

Following his outstanding junior college and amateur Golf carrier he made his debut at senior level at the age of 20 in year 1996. He quickly rose to prominence at senior level where he became World number 1 player in 1997.Till 2010 he had already won 13 major Golf Championship which itself speaks volume about his rise in the game of Golf in quick succession.
