LeBron James on Montrezl Harrell and Dennis Schroder ‘adds to the firepower’

Only two games into the regular season the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers believe they’re a better team from last year in the bubble where they won their 17th NBA Trophy.

Lakers superstar LeBron James had nothing but great words to say about his new teammates in the Los Angeles Lakers Montrezl Harrell and Dennis Schroder.

New additions of Dennis Schroder from OKC and Montrezl Harrell from Clippers, have helped Los Angeles stay balanced and come out energized after a historically short offseason.

“Their ability to score, their ability to be efficient as well, just adds to our firepower that we have,” James told reporters after defeating the Dallas Mavericks, 138-115, on Christmas.

“It was great to see that tonight. They both felt and seemed comfortable with what we wanted to do and accomplish offensively. It was big for our team.”

LeBron James said Harrell and Schroder are very important for the Lakers and their presence “adds to the firepower’ the team has.

Montrezl Harrell had 22 points and seven rebounds and Schroder scored 18 points with six assists against Dallas.

Asked by ESPN’s Rachel Nichols, James didn’t hesitate to point out what the newest Lakers add to the team.

“A lot of energy,” James said.

“A lot of energy that we needed, especially with the short layoff. They’re giving us a lot of energy, a lot of quickness, some young bodies and they’re hungry. They’re hungry to win a championship.”

Though there’s the new duo in Eastern Conference that might challenge Lebron and lakers for the NBA championship if they keep the momentum they can win it all this year too.
