PERSONAL LIFE
Lalita’s parents are farmers. The village where Lalita lived was drought-affected which effected their agriculture. Lalita comes from an agriculture background. Both her mother and father were farmers. She resides in a village called Mohi- an undeveloped and backward area where girls still aren’t allowed to follow their dreams and get them married as soon as possible. In fact, Lalita’s sister got married at the age of 18. However, Lalita’s parents, unlike others, supported her and allowed to pursue her dream of becoming an athlete. They understood her ambition and abilities. The athlete promised her mother that she will get married once she achieves all her goals.
At the age of 26, Lalita kept her promise to her mother and married IRS Officer Sandeep Bhosale. Following her marriage, she did not participate in Asian Athletics Championships 2017. She took a little break from Athletic field & was busy taking care of her husband and in-laws.
In October 2017, she returned to training sessions as her supportive husband & in-laws wanted her to participate in Olympics. After her break, Babar struggled a lot to get back to her best. But she worked hard and came back with a bang.
