Another season, another disappointment for kings 11. With the impressive start they had no one imagined that they would actually fail to qualify for the playoffs. The only good thing about their season was their captain, KL Rahul, who not only won the orange cap but also managed to score his personal best for a season. None of his players supported him till the end while lead to the downfall of their team. Preity Zinta as always came to support her team but only to see them fall through in the end. No teams played closer games than the Kings XII. There were games which they had almost won but then they bottled it. Another season brings fresh and new hopes for kings 11. The management have understandably lost their trust and cool with the current batch of players as they have decided to release most of its players, which understandably might be the right decision as most of their big names like Glen Maxwell, Jimmy Needham, Sheldon Cotrell, all of whom had one of the worst seasons, all failed to perform.
Kings XI Punjab Players to Watch Out
- KL Rahul, coming back from an injury, we hope he will bounce back
- Chris Gayle, not sure with the number of games he will get to play, but whatever it’ll be he will give his best.
- Mayank Agarwal, who will fight to have his spot back in the Indian Cricket team
- Nicholas Pooran, who had an amazing BBL.
