Kavem Ajoel Rakem Hodge, a Dominican cricketer, was born on February 21, 1993. Rakem Hodge has represented the Windward Islands and the Combined Campuses and Colleges in domestic West Indian cricket.

Playing Career

Hodge was raised in Antrizle, a small village on the east coast of Dominica, despite being born in the country’s capital, Roseau. He played for the West Indies under-19s in the 2012 Under-19 World Cup in Australia after leading the Windward Islands under-19s in regional competitions. In the 2011–12 Regional Four Day Competition, Hodge played against the Leeward Islands and made his first-class debut for the Windwards.

He changed to the Combined Campuses for the 2013–14 season because he was eligible because he was a UWI student. For the inaugural Caribbean Premier League (CPL) season, he also signed with the St. Lucia Zouks, however, he did not participate in any games.

Kavem Ajoel Rakem Hodge was selected for the Cricket West Indies B Team roster for the inaugural Global T20 Canada competition in June 2018. On August 11, of the year 2018, Kavem Ajoel Rakem Hodge played his first Twenty20 match for St. Lucia Stars in the Caribbean Premier League. With 179 runs in eight matches, Hodge led the Windward Islands in run production during the 2018–19 Regional Super50 competition.

Kavem Ajoel Rakem Hodge was included in the Windward Islands team for the 2019–20 Regional Super50 competition in the month of October of the year 2019. With 341 runs in seven games, Hodge was the Windward Islands’ top run-scorer during the competition. Kavem was included on the St. Lucia Zouks roster for the 2020 Caribbean Premier League in the month of July of that year.

Hodge was included in the Windward Islands team for the 2019–20 Regional Super50 competition in the month of October of the year 2019. With 341 runs in seven games, Kavem Ajoel Rakem Hodge was the Windward Islands’ top run-scorer during the competition. Kavem was included on the St. Lucia Zouks roster for the 2020 Caribbean Premier League in the month of July of that year.
