Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri has rubbished all the concerns regarding his future with the club ahead of the side’s clash against Lyon on August 8 in the Champions League.
As per the reports, Sarri has been under the heat despite leading the side to the 9th Serie A title last month. Juventus has been lining up the replacements for Sarri in case the side fails to overturn a 1-0 deficit to Lyon in the Champions League.
The club’s Chiefs have also lined up four managers who could be a probable replacement of the 61-year-old at the Allianz Stadium.
However, Sarri has denied all the concerns over his departure by saying:
“I don’t think my future is riding on this game,”
“Thinking this way you make the club directors look like amateurs. I think I’m dealing with high-level directors. They will decide whether to continue or to change. But it doesn’t depend on a single game.”
Sarri also gave an update on Ronaldo’s participation in the game against Lyon after resting him in the final game of the Serie A season.
“Ronaldo is training in the right manner,”
“On Wednesday he scored an excellent goal in training. He played many games in a short time, he rested a little and now he has trained with intensity and strength.” Sarri said.
