Premier league table toppers are due to face their arch-rivals Manchester United on Sunday night.
Manchester United is the only side unbeaten against Liverpool in the premier league this season. Ole Gunnar Solksjaer would be looking to keep this record intact ahead of the visit to Anfield.
While providing the update on team news, Liverpool gaffer Jurgen Klopp said,
“I wait really until they are on the pitch and somebody tells me they are allowed to do the full session,” the Reds boss told the Liverpool Website.
‘That means a lot for Liverpool and helps massively. But we will see how it looks. The week is very important.”
“The game on Sunday against United, we all know what people expect from us from that game. It will be a big one as well and we try to be ready for that.”
The recent form of Joe Gomez at center-back means that Matip and Lovren may be forced to settle for places on the bench should they be involved against United.
Fabinho has been out of LFC squad since sustaining an ankle injury in the Champions League match against Napoli on November 27 but could return to allow Jordan Henderson to move further forward in midfield.
Liverpool are at the top of the pile in the Premier League and have a huge lead over second-placed Manchester City. They look relentless at the moment and are favorites in Sunday’s clash against the Red Devils which is going to be a cracker for sure.
