However, Joe Root gradually headed his inning and put on 65 runs with Kohler-Cadmore for the second wicket. However, the Rockets lost wickets at regular intervals after that, and they were eventually bowled out for 171.
Root scored 35 off 23 balls, and he was one of the few Rockets batsmen, apart from Kohler-Cadmore (64) who got going. Colin Munro also made 36, but the rest of the batting line-up struggled against the Originals’ bowling attack.
