Jess Kerr is a 22-year all-rounder who plays for New Zealand women’s cricket team. She is the elder sister of Amelia Kerr who has already established herself as a regular member of the national team. Jess is equally skilled and with time her potential will she an outcome. She unlike her sister is a medium pacer. Both the sisters are all-rounders and them playing together for the white herns will provide the team with immense balance.

Jess Kerr was born on 18 January 1998 in Tawa, New Zealand. Cricket is something that has been running in the blood of her family. She was born to former Wellington players Robbie and Jo. Cricket in her family goes as far back as her maternal grandfather Bruce Murray. Her younger sister plays for the New Zealand team and has already established herself as a core member of the side. Jess started her cricketing journey with the Wellington Blaze team.

She has recently made her international debut and has only played 2 matches for her nation. Her ODI debut came on 27 January 2020 against South Africa. She is yet to make her T20 International debut and it will be interesting to see how both the sister’s team up for the national team.
