Men in Blue just lost the first T20I against the Black Caps in Jharkhand by 21 runs, and the bowlers from New Zealand deserve praise for using their talents to the fullest extent to make the objective difficult for the Indian batters.

India is undoubtedly adopting a new approach to T20 cricket, where they experiment and try out various lineups, sometimes finding success and other times failing.

The next T20I encounter is coming up, and India needs to immediately exact revenge for this loss. It would be fascinating to see if any changes are made for the forthcoming match.

India’s inability to win ICC trophies has been questioned on numerous occasions. The most recent participant in the discussion is former Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran Akmal, who said in an interview with paktv.tv that while India is a great team, they are not capable of winning all ICC trophies.

He continued by saying that if winning the ICC trophy is the standard, then teams like New Zealand and South Africa have to be disqualified due to their failure to triumph in major competitions.

Akmal came to the conclusion that India consistently raises the bar at various ICC events, demonstrating the legitimacy of the Men in Blue at major competitions.

After a three-match T20I series, Team India will face Australia in a four-match Border Gavaskar Trophy competition, with the first game taking place in Nagpur on February 9, 2023.
