The ninth season of the Indian Super League is set to end; the playoffs will start on March 4th, 2023, and the championship game will be played on March 18th.

The ISL playoffs will feature six clubs for the first time, including the top two groups of teams. The teams who place third, fourth, fifth, and sixth will also have the chance to play one match in order to qualify for the final two semifinal slots, while Mumbai and Hyderabad have already qualified as one of the semifinalist teams.

A home leg and an away leg will make up the semi-final, and the winner advances to the final.

Kerala Blasters pulled up and discussed the most recent development.

Champions of I-League will receive promotion to ISL from 2023-24 season

In retrospect, Adrian Luna and Rahul Kanoly Praveen scored back-to-back goals for the former to snare a memorable victory for the franchise in the first few minutes of the game.

With the setback, Chennaiyin FC’s chances of making the playoffs have been significantly reduced, and they now need a miracle to pull off a spectacular victory and advance.

The ISL will implement the promotion and relegation system moving forward in the upcoming season, where the bottom-tier I-League teams will be demoted and the top-tier I-League teams will be promoted to the next level.
