IPL 2025: SRH vs LSG – Which Team will Win the Match?
The IPL 2025 has begun less than a week ago and it is already gaining momentum, with some nail baiting finishes and high-class action on field.
As match number 7 is set to take place on March 27, Sunrisers Hyderabad will play their second match against the Lucknow Super Giants.
Pat Cummins led SRH will look to double their points tally when they take on a rather pensive LSG side, led by new captain Rishabh Pant at their home ground in Hyderabad.
Since 2022, both the teams have faced each other in 4 matches so far. Out of these 4 games, Hyderabad have won 1 whereas Lucknow have come out victorious on 3 occasions.
The highest score in SRH’s history against LSG has been 182 while for Lucknow it has been 185.
In the current edition, Sunrisers have gotten a rollicking start, as they defeated Rajasthan Royals by 44 runs on a batting paradise at home last week.

The Orange Army amassed the second-highest team total in IPL history, 286 runs, all credit to the stupendous innings played Ishan Kishan. Henrich Klaasen, Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, and Nitish Reddy also made important contributions to fail the Royals’ bowling attack.
Meanwhile, LSG may be slightly demoralized after their defeat against the Delhi Capitals in their opening fixture. Roaring half-centuries from Mitchell Marsh and Nicholas Pooran gave the Lucknow Super Giants a wonderful start, but they lost wickets through the middle phase, ultimately finishing for just 209 runs in their innings.
The batting performance by Ashutosh Sharma and Vipraj Nigam kept their side alive with some exemplary hitting, that took Delhi to a one-wicket victory. As far as the ground for today’s encounter is concerned, The Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium has been a happy hunting ground for batters, especially since last season.
Out of the 12 innings played at the venue, there were seven scores of 200 or above. From the first match of this season, it is evident that the surface hasn’t changed. Winning the toss and batting first should be a good ploy, as chasing totals of over 250 will prove to be a task to accomplish.
