Krunal Pandya is certainly the most underrated player in the Mumbai Indians squad as he has been good with the ball for them and clinched wickets for them in regular succession in the ongoing edition of IPL 2020 but he hardly gets the credit for it.With the bat he has got limited opportunity in this tournament but despite that he has scored some runs for the franchise at the back hand. Taking about his performance he said my job is to make sure that I perform my role with the best of my ability. He further stressed that he love tough situations and wants to create an impact for the team.
“Yeah I am playing this role from last four-five years. This year I am also happy with the way I am going about my batting and bowling. This year we have been doing really well and the Top order has done well so I haven’t really batted, But the little I have batted, I have tried to create an impact”. Krunal Told ANI.
“Bowling wise also, I have tried to do well . I have bowled those crucial overs and I have happy how I have gone about it.As yes Like you said, Its a thankless job, but I love those situations and I wait for those as a player.You know got out there and bail your team out from those tough situations and win games for the team” Krunal added during an interaction with special media.
Krunal also talked about his comeback in the Indian team where he said that he certainly wants to play for the national team but as of now his focus is on playing an important role for Mumbai Indians so that they can clinch another IPL title.
“I also want to make a comeback in the Indian Team. If you see the games I have played for India, I have done well in terms of bowling
I did. I got the Man of the Match awards. Overall I was happy with the Journey with the Indian team.I am looking forward to make a comeback”.
