India Esports news: Global Esports team to compete next in Singapore at VCT APAC event

Global Esports team will be competing next in Singapore Valorant Championship tour: Asia Pacific Challengers 1 and their aim will be to book a spot at Valorant Masters One.

The team would be also looking for top two finish at VCT APAC but it won’t be easy ride for them as they might receive stiff competition from Velocity gaming team.

Stressing more on Global Esports team they are the only Indian team who have competed in a VCT International Lan event.

However, with new competition in the field of Esports resuming, Global Esports and Velocity gaming will be aiming to make India proud.

The event will start from 10th March and will conclude on March 27th 2022 and Global Esports team will participate in play-ins that will be taking place on first two days and Velocity gaming will participate in the early rounds directly but all the matchups for next round will be decided based on their performance in the play-ins method.

The Prize money of $150,000 is on the line for the ongoing event and Vera Esports is the official broadcasters partner of the event.

On September 27th 2021, Global Esports sign shinobi as coach but on 13th October shinobi resigned from his post.

The active players in the gaming organisation include the likes of SK Rossi, Hellaranger, Kappa, skillz and Lightning fast.

The last tournament in which they took part was Logitech Loco Invitational event which was a C-Tier tournament and they bagged first position.
