“India Not Tees Maar Khan Either, Will Be Back Home Next Week” said Shoaib Akhtar on Indian cricket team has sparked another controversy

Let’s face it, while Indian and Pakistani citizens may complement each other in front of the camera when these two teams are competing in a cricket match, no one wants to lose.

Players in Pakistan are also brutally harassed on social media if they lose against India and vice versa. Cricket legends from both nations are also no different; they frequently emphasize the need for bilateral series between the two nations, but when they lose against one another, they don’t even treat it as a contest.

After Men in Green recently suffered consecutive defeats to India and Zimbabwe, fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar criticized his team’s poor performance.

He also brought up India in those remarks, which was absolutely illogical given that the game was between Pakistan and Zimbabwe and there was no need to bring up India in that scenario.

Let me share what he said on his official Youtube channel in the below format.

“Maine pehle bhi kaha hai ki Pakistan iss haftah Pakistan waapas aa jayegi, aur agle hafte India bhi waapas aa jayegi semi-final khel ke. Vo bhi koi utne tees maar khan nahi hain (I had said it before that Pakistan will return home this week while India will be back next week, after playing the semi-final. They (India) aren’t a quality team either).”

Social media is rife with debate over this statement, which amplifies his resentment of India. However, given that our media keeps inviting these players to appear on our panel, why don’t we stop inviting them to our own media platforms? I’ll let you answer that argument.

India has performed admirably in the T2o World Cup 2022, winning their next two matches against Proteas and India back-to-back. By winning that game next match against South Africa, they will guarantee their place in the TOP 4 of the prestigious tournament.
