With consecutive first-ball ducks, there is now concern over Suryakumar’s place in the Eleven. Also, a critical decision on speed bowling slots is expected, with deadly pacer Umran Malik still to play a game in the series. Many feel the 23-year-old will be given a chance in Chennai, but it remains to be seen how the team’s management will change the lineup.
Nevertheless, Australia’s dominance in the second game has left them in a great position in the series, and they will try to build on this momentum in the encounter.
