After the loss against Delhi Capitals, Ricky Ponting expressed his views in a press conference. He shared that he defeat had been very bitter and crushing for the entire team.He said,
It is quite difficult to score the match in this particular instance. I was humiliated by our inability to prevent our opponents from scoring in the first half. We bowled 17 extra-wide balls and it took us 2 hours to bowl the entire over. We were again two overs behind and as a result the bowlers of the final two overs were allowed to have only four players outside the circle. We really did many things in the match that could have been avoided in the meantime. We have to rectify our errors immediately. In fact, this topic will be openly talked about in the dressing room.
