Sevilla Nemanja Gudelj after being tested positive for COVID-19 has said that he is perfectly fine and following the medical procedures being advised to him by doctors and have no symptoms at the moment.
“Good afternoon everybody, after confirming my positive Covid-19 test I want to tell you all that I am perfectly fine, I have no symptoms,” he explained in his video released on his official Twitter page.
“Thanks for all your messages of support, we are still here training and we’ll see you soon.” He added.
As soon as this news broke out in Sevilla squad, immediate instructions were given to carry further testing on all the members of the team in order to ensure the safety and security procedures within the team.
The results of half of the players in the first batch have been found negative which is a good sign and for rest of the players, their result will be out today.
They concluded their La Liga campaign by 1-0 victory over Valencia on July 19th to finish at the fourth position but their Europa League commitments resume against Roma on August 6.
Sevilla FC is also one of the most successful clubs, winning a national title in 1945-46. They have also won Spanish Cups in (1935, 1939, 1948, 2007 and 2010) respectively. Their home ground is the 43,883-seat Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium.
