“Humari bhi respect hain we are world champions” reveals EX-Pak cricketer on BCCI vs PCB fight over Asia Cup 2023

BCCI vs PCB

Things between the two neighbors are not going well diplomatically or in cricket, and the ASIA Cup 2023 match that was meant to take place in Pakistan and pit India against Pakistan will no longer take place there.

According to reports from several media sites, it is made clear that India won’t visit Pakistan and that all of their games would be played in the United Arab Emirates.

Instead, Pakistan will host the games for the rest of the world.

The location will change to UAE if India advances to the semi-final and championship match.

Talking about the news where India will not travel to Pakistan for Asia Cup 2023, Kamran Akmal talked about this incident in detail where he said “We should not go India for World Cup 2023 even if India don’t visit Pakistan for Asia Cup. Humari bhi respect hain we are world champions” said Akmal on Nadir Ali Podcast Channel.

“Pakistan should definitely play the Asia Cup, even if it is played in the UAE. But see, if Indians don’t want to come to Pakistan, we should also not play the World Cup match against them. We should not go for the World Cup. While the decision lies in the hands of the ICC and the PCB, we also have some respect (Hamaari bhi KOI respect hai), and we have also been world champions. The issue isn’t between the two boards, it is in the hands of the two governments,” he said.

Post 2013, India and Pakistan haven’t played bilateral series against each other and considering the current scenario the series between these two is a far fetched reality.
