Hasan Ali once again shows his anti-India feelings, asks Indian media not to show concern for his injury

Pakistan fast bowler announced himself in international cricket in style. Ali made his debut in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 which Pakistan won, and he was the highest wicket-taker of the tournament for which he won a golden ball. He was then the no.1 ODI bowler in the ICC rankings for a while.

But in 2018, Hasan failed to carry his form from the previous year. The pacer managed just 19 wickets in 14 games and the same slump in form repeated itself in 2019 as well. He was one of the worst performers for Pakistan in the ODI World Cup 2019 and faced severe criticism for the same.

Due to an injury, Ali has not played an international game since the World Cup clash against India on June 16. He is yet to recover and has been ruled out of the on-going Test series at home as well.

Ali, meanwhile, has been facing criticism from all around after a video of him walking in a fashion show went viral. The fans questioned why was the bowler walking on a ramp instead of resting himself. Apart from the fans, an Indian Hindi news agency also covered that video.

The pacer, having noticed the news piece, was quick to react to it. He wrote in Hindi, “Aap ki jaankari ke liye bata deta hu ki maine 60-70% recover kar liya hai. Mere fans meri chinta karne ke liye kaafi hai lihaaza aap koi iski zarurat nahi. Dhanyawaad.”

In English, Ali’s reaction translates to – “Just for your information, I have recovered 60-70% from the injury. I have enough fans to worry about my recovery, you (the news agency) need not worry about me.”

This is not the first instance of Ali showing his anti-India feelings. Last year, he had rudely gestured to Indian people and the Indian army with his trademark cricket celebration at the Wagah Border, for which he was criticized by not just Indians but a few Pakistanis too.
