Actually, Anushka Sharma, who was last seen in the film ‘Zero’ opposite Shah Rukh Khan in 2018, is going to be seen in the biopic film of the former captain of the Indian women’s team and fast bowler Jhulan Goswami. Anushka Sharma who is almost of the same height as that of Jhulan Goswami has started practicing for this film. At the same time, now some pictures are going viral on social media, in which the former is seen with Jhulan Goswami donning the Indian team’s t-shirt.
Jhulan Goswami, known as Chakdaha Express, is a legend not only for India in women’s cricket but among women cricketers from all over the world. Jhulan Goswami, who has been playing continuously for the Indian women’s team since 2002, has been on the cricket field for more than 18 years.
Actress Anushka Sharma shot at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Saturday night till 4 am. Anushka took the entry shot on the field in the role of Jhulan Goswami along with 10 other players. It is to be noted that Jhulan Goswami retired from T20 International cricket in the year 2018. The same year she became the first female player to take 200 wickets in ODI International cricket. At the same time, she received the ICC Women’s Player of the Year Award in the year 2007. Jhulan has 225 wickets in 182 ODIs, 40 wickets in 10 Tests and 56 wickets in 68 T20I matches.
Reports are also ripe that Taapsee Pannu will also be donning the blue jersey on screen as she will be seen in Indian Cricketer Mithali Raj’s biopic–Shabaash Mithu.
