Harwant Kaur Biography: Harwant Kaur is an Indian Discuss Thrower and Shot putter. She has won medals at Asian Championships and Commonwealth Games. She is also known for representing India at the 2004 Summer Olympics Games and 2008 Beijing Olympics.

• In 2007, the Olympian left the National Athletic coaching camp to go and live with her Aunt in Australia. She was training at the NIS under the Sports Authority of India’s coach Parveer Singh. She went to Melbourne to get proper training if she got selected for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Unfortunately, she finished 17th in the qualifiers with a throw of 56.42 m.
• Her career-best performance is her personal best Discuss Throw of 63.05 m at Kiev in Ukraine. She won the Gold medal in that competition.
