Harbhajan Singh explains the time when MS Dhoni could not control his emotions and cried!

MS Dhoni is frequently referred to as “Captain Cool” by his admirers because they believe he constantly keeps his emotions under check. No matter how stressful things become on the field, it would be quite unusual to see Dhoni lose his composure.

Dhoni is a challenging player to anticipate both on and off the pitch because of his emotionally impermeable demeanor. Harbhajan Singh, Dhoni’s former teammate for both Chennai Super Kings and India, has recently stated that there was a time when Dhoni even broke down in tears while he was surrounded by his CSK colleagues.

Harbhajan said that the event took place in 2018, when CSK was making their IPL comeback after serving a two-season suspension for allegedly participating in the IPL betting scandal. The claim was made in a video that was published by Star Sports.

Imran Tahir, a former CSK spinner, joined Harbhajan and supported the account, claiming it was at that very time that he realised how close the team was to Dhoni. “I want to share a tale with you. There was a team meal in 2018, when CSK returned to this league following a 2-year suspension. Men don’t weep, according to a proverb I’ve heard, yet MS Dhoni sobbed that night. He broke down in tears. I doubt that anyone is aware of this. Do you agree, Imran?

In response Tahir said, “Of course, I agree. “Even I attended. He (MS Dhoni) experienced a lot of emotion at that time. I could tell by the way he was looking at me how much he cared about this squad. He views his teammates as his family. It moved us all quite a bit. Even so, the South African cricket player said it was a great victory for the team because they had been derided by experts as being “too old.”
