Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi made a big statement on former India captain Virat Kohli. On twitter, Shahid Afridi was asked about Virat Kohli’s future ahead of Asia Cup 2022 which also sees the old foe go against each other the most awaiting game of the year, India vs Pakistan clash in the Asia Cup 2022. To the question, Shahid Afridi simply replied, “It’s in his own hands.”

Former India skipper will make his return to the cricket field after five week break when India will take on old rivals Pakistan in the opening match of the upcoming Asia Cup T20 tournament on August 28. Virat Kohli last played for India was in the England tour.

The main topic of the debate is former India captain’s current form in the International cricket and his place in the T20I format cricket. Although Kohli missed the India’s tours of the West Indies and ongoing Zimbabwe tour.

Virat Kohli‘s last international hundred came after 1000 days back which also shows the confidence about him since then. In another tweet, a fan said Kohli hadn’t score a century for more than 1ooo days. On this tweet, Shahid Afridi replied, “Bare players ka mushkil waqt me hi pata chalta hai”

Although, Virat Kohli form against Pakistan in T20I matches had been terrific. In last 7 matches against Pakistan, Kohli has scored a total of 311 runs with an average of 77.75.
